You are my inspiration

Every poem is fresh and so brand new

Inspiring me to search deep in my core

Yet free like the birds who are able to soar

To ascend higher than a mountain top

Able to write again continually to never stop

All because of you

Now I see in color bringing me out of my blues

LEAVE YOUR BURDEN AT THE CROSS

A heavy burden to pay carrying the cross of our sins. Follow the steps of the Lord and feel Christ help you cross over.

One of the greatest gift the Lord has given us is 'free choice' Every day we are presented with choices some good some bad. And when we do fall short of the Lord's good Grace He is so merciful that he forgives and forgets when we sincerely atone for our sins. But some people just don't learn from the first time and continue to live without discipline but to please their own self-indulgence regardless who gets hurts. Do right by others even when we are at our lowest we should never be alone.

That is why I live by the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would like them to do to you." At that deepest moment when we feel at our loneliest... We are not. Jesus was their all along. That is God's way of breaking people down who continue to be disobedient in order to reshape them from the original mold. The Potter is good even when we feel the heat. That is the heat remolding us back in His perfect image that we have stepped out of.

A real man in my eyes has his own.  Leads his life as an example for others to inspire to emulate.  Runs his home with dignity and peace. Provides for his family from the fruits of his labor.  A provider for the family, protects them with his life, friend, lover and disciplinary father.  Not lazy afraid to work. Not a coward who sits quietly but stands for what is right with strong moral and ethics. And follow in the ways of the Christ’s example of what a Christian  should be.  President Obama has definitely proven worthy of all of these. Not just in words but action with his integrity.

1 Timothy 3:1-16

The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? ...

THREE GENERATIONS OF STRONG WOMEN WITH A PURPOSE!

Not perfect but full of love... My Mother a true Southern Belle who sacrificed so much for me. A phenomenal Lady with so much class and passion. My Angel in the midst of all the darkness is the candle lit flame that illuminates my life with fire that warms my heart after left stone cold for so many seasons. I am truly blessed with so many reasons. But the one that is most sacred to my heart ♥ is the purpose driven to be a Mother for the next generation. To raise an independent Lady with strong morals, contribute to society as a productive citizen and a loyal friend.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!

My Mother's day story

It was 1990 and I was only 21 years young
Silly school girl’s 1st love
Madly in love with my high school sweet heart
The most tumultuous relationship from the start
We met when I was sweet 16
When he walked in my life like a dream
But 5 years later ended in a bad nightmare
You see I was pregnant but unaware
Of the violence soon to come to me and my unborn
Beaten physically but mentally scorned
By the death of my Angel
Silenced with the exception of the bells that rung…

15 years later mini mid life crisis
Turning 36 with no direction for my life
And then God granted me anther Angel
After many days of no love my wings fell
To feel my empty soul
As the story be told
Filled entirety with love
My baby sent from above…

BUT as tragedy knocks on the door
Only 6 months pregnant scare for sure
Body too weak to carry her
Faith weakened replaced with fear
Christ stepped in and held me
Reinsured with new found destiny
I found what I was looking for
Purpose driving by my new born
MOHTERHOOD nothing like it
And finally my Life was complete…

BUT the story does not end there
6 months later Christmas season
My best friend and lover
Awesome provider and her father
Was called Home when death knock on the door
I swear I can’t take too much more
Now 6 years later I finally found comfort
In the one who requires so much of my support
I sacrifice to give her a good life
But she teaches me how to live a amazing LIFE!
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!

HE IS…

THE SILVER LINING AFTER THE RAIN
CONFORTER FROM ALL MY PAIN
THE LYRICS ON THE MUSIC SHEET
THAT GIVE ME REASON TO SING
REJOICE AND PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME
FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS I PROCLAIM
HIS NAME IS JESUS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY
PRECIOUS SON OF GOD GAVE UP HIS LIFE TO SAVE
A SINNER LIKE ME AND NOW I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

You can burry the TRUTH in hope it will die, but it won't stay there for a dog will always come back to dig up his bone. With closed eyes from what is clearly in front of you and mouth shut will not stop your spirit from exposing your character when no one is looking. I say this to you...

You can nail it to a cross, wrap it in winding sheets and shut it behind a tomb. But it will rise! For my Savior Jesus Christ was crucified but now born again.
Remember the miracle of this Easter Sunday holiday!

"Freedom only comes to those who dream"

by Cheri Noire on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2:44pm

Are hookers inside brothels for protection
or held prisoners by rocks thrown in the name of religion
Are all the prisoners really guilty locked up behind bars
or by the cases stacked up written in law books thus far

So what do you really think of perception
Is it only a figment of our imagination

Freedom only comes to those who dream
To a land fulfilled with extraordinary possibilities
No one can take away your life experiences
Knowledge learned by education

Rely on your faith to make a way
When man led you astray

Let go and allow God to have His way
To the promised land of Salvation, What a Glorious day
And then you will receive Victory!
The true definition of what it is to really be free

MOTHER OF THE LAND ~ QUEEN OF THE NILE

by Cheri Noire on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 7:13pm

Africa the Mother Land over all the other nations beauty and rich with prosperity
Diamonds, gold, tanzanite and the richness of the soil but misused in disparity
Land of so many colors; mahogany, ebony but I adore the richness of my sand
Light in complexion radiant as I glow priceless like the richness of my land
Color of gold my complexion as I shine radiant as others stare
High cheek bones, long neck with thick flowing black hair
Green with envy in the eyes of those who want to prosperous like me
Humble as I flourish in the wetlands so bountiful, flush & green
Black for the beauty of the people with their fight for life
Surviving near the edge careful not to fall down from the currant of the Nile
This is my story with the drum beat of the land this is my song
Never duplicated, compromised and underestimated for too long
Wait and watch but don’t be surprise
The day of which I will come back stronger as I Rise.

DON'T LET TIME PASS YOU BY...

by Cheri Noire on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 9:54pm

My mind is spinning again… the need to write as I inspire with the most sublime
Inspirational, unconventional, and exceptional poem… but when can I find the time?
Time…
Tick tock the clock strikes
Time…
Can be your best friend
Or an enemy breaking your spirit in the end
Chin up and praise God only He has proven worthy over again
As a trusted  unconditional friend in the end
How will you use Time?  Today is the day to be on time
Before you run out of…  TIME
The clocks strikes half past NOW

Time is a healer at the end… of tragedy, disparity and for the lonely
It reunites old friends… for two people to meet by coincidence after years being apart
It is the judge… used as evidence to settle disputes in the court of law
The miracle… the one second that made a difference being at the wrong place at the right time
A dream come true… 9 months the mother who gave birth to her beloved child.
The punisher… the prisoners serving time for a crime
Time Capsule… a song, smell or an feeling that brought you back down memory lane

P.S. (Poetically Seductive)
What time is it?

THE DAY I DIED

by Cheri Noire on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 9:06pm

On the day I die
Please, no need to cry
All good things must come to an end
Before rebirth can begin

Emancipation!
From all my tribulations
Liberating!
Just saying

Caterpillar must die
Before the butterfly
Hidden inside
Can fly

Easter Sunday is day of celebration
The day of Jesus Christ's Resurrection
Died and risen again
Only to save us from our sins

Baptism
Death from our natural born sins
Cleansed and washed away to live
As Jesus Christ did

Seasons there are four in all
Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall
Life cycles birth ends in death
In between we must live with no regrets

In the winter birds fly south
To keep warm without a doubt
Early morning breeze
Rebirth is what the Spring brings

Summer the hottest of them all
Followed by the Deadliest of them all is Fall
Nature's way of dying before its reborn
From the brutal winter's storms

New love
Not talking about lust
But the selfless kind
Comes to mind

Man sacrifice for his wife
Mothers sacrifice their lives
Time to give up the single ways
Priorities change leaving behind the games

On the day I die
Please don't cry
Today life begins...

P.S. (Poetically Seductive)
REJOICE! FOR TODAY I LIVE
