THE DAY I DIED

by Cheri Noire on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 9:06pm

On the day I die
Please, no need to cry
All good things must come to an end
Before rebirth can begin

Emancipation!
From all my tribulations
Liberating!
Just saying

Caterpillar must die
Before the butterfly
Hidden inside
Can fly

Easter Sunday is day of celebration
The day of Jesus Christ's Resurrection
Died and risen again
Only to save us from our sins

Baptism
Death from our natural born sins
Cleansed and washed away to live
As Jesus Christ did

Seasons there are four in all
Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall
Life cycles birth ends in death
In between we must live with no regrets

In the winter birds fly south
To keep warm without a doubt
Early morning breeze
Rebirth is what the Spring brings

Summer the hottest of them all
Followed by the Deadliest of them all is Fall
Nature's way of dying before its reborn
From the brutal winter's storms

New love
Not talking about lust
But the selfless kind
Comes to mind

Man sacrifice for his wife
Mothers sacrifice their lives
Time to give up the single ways
Priorities change leaving behind the games

On the day I die
Please don't cry
Today life begins...

P.S. (Poetically Seductive)
REJOICE! FOR TODAY I LIVE
